2" Country Woods Classic

These wood blinds are Hunter Douglas' premier and most popular of all their wood window blinds. Country Woods offer a warm and inviting look to any decor. Whether they are richly stained or painted, wood blinds are the modern alternative to shutters. These wood window coverings are made from 2" basswood. The vanes are coated with the exclusive Top Shield finish. Top Shield is 5 times more durable and provides a scratch resistant, UV stable, and easy to clean smooth surface.These wooden Hunter Douglas blinds come standard with a deluxe tailored wood valance to cover the headrail, with decorative fabric tapes optional. All Country Wood blinds come standard with a beautiful Grandover valance that will correspond with the valance in Hunter Douglas' Everwood Fauxwood collection. An Artemis valance can be added in place of the Grandover at no additional cost or a 4 1/2" Havencrest Valance can be ordered at a minimal charge.Get Hunter Douglas' popular Delight no-holes option to block out more light and get tighter closure, giving you better insulation. The Literise cordless option allows you to raise and lower your blinds without a string for added safety. PowerTilt enables you to easily tilt the slats of your blind if you prefer that over always raising and lowering your blind. Blinds in the Country Wood collection now have the same common valance clips and common tassels.Color shown in picture is Cottage Pine 869. Cloth tape color: White 450.

"I ordered three sets of HD 2"Classics, one was a couple inches short in length when extended. Blinds.com service rep requested a replacement set and within a few days we received it. So they take care of you and followup to make sure everything was right. All online. I wish every company was this cordial and cooperative. Thanks Blinds.com!"

"Blinds are beautiful, and quality is excellent! I am very pleased with the Hunter Douglas product, but I am even more pleased with the excellent customer service I have received. Two of the Ten valances had a cosmetic issue, and Blinds.Com, responded quickly, and sent replacements ASAP. Their prices were also outstanding, compared to the Home Depot, and Budget Blinds. I can't believe I found all three (lowest price, excellent service, and fast shipping) in one retailer."

"We have enjoyed our Hunter Douglas wood blinds. I was a bit concerned in the beginning because after installing them, I realized that a slat was broken. I contacted blinds.com and they very quickly got another one sent out! The only thing that I think is tricky--is attaching and removing the valence clips and the valence. They do not attach as easily as the instructions say to do so.

Overall we have been absolutely satisfied with the blinds!"

"This products looked good in the advertisements but, once installed, it looks cheap and not made very well. The edges of the wooded slats are unfinished and lacks uniformity. Some of the slats are not spaced equally and, although we're tried to fix it by adjusting the strings, we can't get the slats to stay straight. Also, the blind sits too far away from the window, and too much light is exposed on the sides. Since there's too much room, it also doesn't provide sufficient privacy. Anyone can look on the sides of the blinds, and see inside the room. Overall, this blind is unsatisfactory, and we don't recommend it."

"These Blinds are worth every penny. They were easy to install, and continue to be easy to maintain. They also look great. My only complaint is the wands for opening and closing, they have started to loosen and fall out. I would go with the cords for future purchases."

"Our blinds came very quickly. Installation was a cinch. The fit was exactly as hoped for. The only adjustment required was to retie one knot so the blinds would raise and lower perfectly level. Blinds.com gets it right!"

"I've just completed putting wooden blinds in every room of my house. I put Faux wood blinds in my bathrooms and basement because of moisture. The addition of blinds has made a tremendous difference in the house. The rooms are now cozy and seem complete. Some of the rooms I added drapes and some I just have blinds. Beautiful both ways."

"I have installed this blind on every window in our house over our past two-year remodel project. I find that Blinds.com 2" blind is more than is needed for our privacy and uses. To pay anymore for a blind is a waste of your money. Take my advice, this is a great blind and is delivered in a timely manner and installs easily."

"These blinds installed very easily. Start to finish took less than half an hour - though it helps to have a helper as it can be a bit awkward as they were pretty heavy in my case.
The only complaint I have is with the knob on the pull-cord. It was made from a cheap plastic and I had to replace it - since I replaced it there have been no problems.
The quality and look is great."

"I purchased five of these blinds for my great room. They are beautiful, easy to use and my husband had them in up in 2 hours. One of the blinds was damaged and the return was a phone call and they sent me a replacement one and picked up the damaged blind. THe color matched my sample and everyone has commented on how nice they look. I would definitely order from blinds.com again. The price and quality beat anyone."

"Ladder on the right side was installed incorrectly and caused the blinds to droop on the right side. The only option through Blinds.com was to send blinds back. I was hoping for a better process. I am keeping blinds and will repair the blinds myself."

"This is the second time I've ordered Hunter Douglas blinds from blinds.com. The first was the 1" mini blinds and this time the 2" wood blinds. "I purchaced two blinds for my bedroom. I saved over $100 per blind from the retail store price. The blinds came well packaged. Easy install. I had the interior mount. I did not get fabric upgrade. The color and size are perfect! I got the routerless upgrade, really like that for the bedroom, no holes in the slats.
Would definately use blinds.com again and have already recommended them to frends.
The blinds took about 8 days to be delivered. Thought the delivery was good timing."
