"I don't recommend the EasyRise feature. Too much work to open/close. Requires a wall attachment for the cord.

"I purchased 3 sets of HD blinds, and everything went smoothly from ordering to installation. I had to match my current blinds and the samples sent were very helpful. Blinds.com had the best price online that I found, and were much cheaper than local stores. After ordering, they arrived in less then a week. "I ordered one as a "test" puchase prior to purchasing for the rest of the house, and glad I did. I liked the blinds themselves, but the color of the plastic piece above and below the blinds looked cheap to me. For the remaining blinds needed, we ordered the plastic pieces the same color as our painted window frame (white) and that blends in, and looks much better than the color close to the shade color. "We have several pairs of French Doors and wanted to block the sun on 3 pairs.
Window tinting was one thought, but we didn't want to affect the view when we wanted to view. Plus, we'd have to do all the windows to make them look uniform.
We decided to go with Applause single cell cordless. The single cell are thinner so we could get them between the door lever and door, only 1.7" gap. Cordless is important so we don't have to deal with cords. (We might have gone with Duette due to better looking color, but these were all white and Applause are cheaper.)
We ordered them to go 1.5" past the glass on each side and a couple inches top and bottom. When we raise them, they don't block the glass at all. Lowered, no sun comes in and they do an okay job of reducing heat.
We love how they look both up and down. We wanted something as unobtrusive as possible, yet easy to use and good looking.
The installs for these 18" and 24" wide blinds were very easy. One problem - one blind was missing a bracket. Blinds.com had HD overnight one.

"Great Blind, but I wish that it had the option of having both the touch control to raise/lower the blind (no cords) AND the top down/ bottom up feature. I've been able to order these both together on the Hunter Douglas Applause blind in the past, but was not allowed to do so when I ordered this blind, so wish it had BOTH features,....other than that I love the blind and could not have been happer with my purchase."

"Next time I get a blind, or recommend a company to someone, I'd recommend you, especially if I had the same saleswoman. I forgot her name (I have it with the blind samples, I'm still holding on to them) but she is incredible. She made it easy, pointed out things we could do that we hadn't thought of, described colors and patterns, and was willing to give opinions. She's intelligent, friendly, helpful, and knows about blinds. It's such a pleasure to be able to rave about somebody like that! Do whatever you can to hold on to her. I wish every business could have people like her on the phones dealing directly with customers. She was interested, alert, helpful. I could go on and on, and obviously I already have, so I'll end here..."
