"We have progressively moved through our home installing Duette - 3/4" single cell shades. We totally love them. Their appearance is clean and modern and provide the right balance of light in the room. The Ultraglide raising system is effortless. The shades are relatively easy to install. However, we have had difficulty (extreme at times) in getting the back side of the blind to snap in place successfully. Other than that, I couldn't recommend these blinds more highly.
I will say, however, that we did buy one vertical Duette shade for our bathroom. The installation process was definitely over our heads (I think the instructions were 52 pages long), so we ultimately had to hire someone to install it. Because it didn't come with all of the correct pieces, the installer couldn't make a complete installation. Tho Blinds.com provided the missing pieces, they have never yet been installed."

"Versatile look~I hung these on very large and very small windows. Looks terrific everywhere. 3/4" blind is a very safe size.
Impressive insulating factor~the dining room has large windows on three sides and otherwise bleeds heat. Honeycomb shades have made a remarkable difference .
Very easy to install, and I'm not handy! I can't recommend the cordless option enough.

"About 4 years ago I had a company do blinds for my 3 season porch and a family room. I was very pleased. I had them back out to give me a price for my new master bath and bedroom. I thought it was high and wanted to think it over.

"I purchased a Duette powerise shade with a remote for a window that is 16 feet up a wall. I have twice been sent a shade with a motor that does not work. The first time I received it the motor did not work at all. It was picked up and "repaired". When we installed it again it became apparent that it was not repaired but simply sent in the same condition. The only positive is that blinds.com will give me a refund but I am still very disappointed that I couldn't get a window covering that worked. Considering I spent over $400.00 on a single shade that's pretty sad. Needless to say I will not be buying a Hunter-Douglas product again."

"I am not a handy-man -- nor do I claim to be one. This product was one of the simplest home projects I've done. Only "gotcha" is that the mounting brackets should be aligned properly. I was lucky to have a back edge to put my mounts flush against, but I still ended up a bit crooked on one. This prevented the headrail from snapping into place -- once I fixed the crooked mount -- everything fell into place nicely."

"Blinds.com saved me nearly half of what I would have spent in any blind store in or around New York City. It was a pleasure doing business with them. When I called the 800 number the representative answered all my questions and gave me suggestions on measuring for a perfect fit. I had chosen a color in a local store, and the representative sent me a sample of this color and similar ones. I wish the samples were perhaps twice the size. "I am very satisfied with my new Duette blinds. I have had Duettes before, and have been pleased with the way they look, and the insulation from heat and cold at the windows. With the 2" faux wood blinds I replaced, that wasn't the case. This is the first time I have had the "Lite Rise" feature--and boy is it terrific! No more cumbersome cords to pull and then try to fasten out of the way. It simply lifts up to the position I want, and stays there."

"Wow - I am one happy camper! The exact same Hunter-Douglas cellular shades that I was going to get through a local "discount" vendor -- but the price on Blinds.com was 38% less! I saved over $500 bucks - which is huge! They arrived in perfect condition (excellent packaging) and in less than half the time the local vendor had quoted us! The measurements were right on the money and installation was easy & quick - just like the customer service agent said it would be. These honeycomb blinds work flawlessly. The windows look awesome. "Overall we are very pleased with the product, but had tremendous difficulty in finding a shade that worked properly for our upper, large window. The upper shades are operated by remote-control and it took 5 shades before we finally received one that my husband was able to reconfigure to work. Blinds.com was outstanding at continuing to send us new shades as each one malfunctioned. I rate Blinds.com 5 stars for their customer service and commitment to customer satisfaction. We do not know if the blind was to blame or the way it was shipped. I would definetly buy from Blinds.com again and would recommend them to my friends. "I had the very same blinds priced from an installer in my town. They were more than 3 times as much!!! That was including installation - so I thought - maybe they are really hard to install. First I order just one blind. My husband put it up in under 10 minutes. Then I ordered the other 27 blinds which arrived in about 1 week, were perfectly sized, and which my husband upt us at a rate of about one every 4 minutes. They are beautiful - the VERY same brand name and extras as I had been priced before. Fantastic! If I had more windows, I would use them again immediately! Thanks."
