"I purchased remote control blinds for three kitchen window which are very hard to reach. I'd installed many sets of blinds before but never with the remote feature.
I'm ashamed to say they sat in their box for almost a year because I was intimidated by the remote feature. I shouldn't have been. They installed like a breeze....the instructions were simple and easy to follow and within an hour I had all three blinds installed.
They look and work beautifully....we love them! And I obviously don't hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering the remote feature. It's a piece of cake! But what's just as important is that Blinds.com's customer service techs would have come to my rescue had there been a problem.
We're very happy customers and can't say enough good things about Blinds.com....it's where we will purchase all our future blinds and so will our friends."

"The blinds look wonderful. I did the whole house in the Sumatra because I have a mix of wood flooring, tile and carpet, and I had to go light neutral on the walls to keep the rooms bright. But I wanted to bring some of the texture up to the eye level. The Sumatra for me is also just the right color to blend woods (oak, cherry, dark stains) 'm a wood-a-holic, and believe they are to be blended. Also, consider the twine rather than the wand for the tilt, it adds a classy touch. Excellent quality and workmanship and the measurements were unbelievably close - out of the whole house order 2 blinds gave me pause because the fit was very snug - but I was able to work it out quickly, I highly recommend this product!"

"These are not the highest quality blinds from a construction standpoint. I ordered 4 blinds & 2 were damaged right out of the box. One had a crushed header & the other had deep scratches on the wood slats. The shipping box was not visibly damaged, so I assume it was during construction (maybe these were made Friday afternoon!). The other 2 were not damaged. All 4 headers were not finished off after cutting or you could tell it was cut to size. Name brands would never ship this way. The blinds slats, aside from the scratched ones, were finished fine.
However, there is hope. First, Blinds.com immediately ordered 2 new blinds for the damaged ones. I have not got them yet, but there was no haggling. They took me on my word. As far as the unfinished "cut" headers, once the blind is installed in the brackets, the unfinished ends do not show so it is no big deal.
Once the blinds were installed, they look GREAT. I still need to swap out the damaged ones once the new arrive, but even damaged the blinds look good. Install was very easy; plenty of good quality hardware. Undamaged Blinds function perfectly. I was quite surprised that these blinds are much lighter than other older wood blinds I have in the house, so they go up very easily & smoothly. Nice!
Quite frankly, I wanted to order the Name brand but the Blinds.com price was to low to pass up. For the money, I would definitely purchase these blinds again as long as I get my new set of blinds to replace defective ones. They are a great value."

"Whenever my husband and I have to install or assemble a product we usually expect it to take twice as long , get frustrated, and get in some sort of " disagreement" . This was the easiest installation we have ever done. If we had any questions we just opened up the video on the web site to see if we were doing it right. And we were! The only concern was that the blinds seemed a bit too long for the window. We did some adjusting ourselves, but I wouldn't recommend doing this if you aren't sure of what you're doing. They look great and I will order these for the other 2 bedrooms."
