"These wood blinds are a great value and look nice in my home. I was disappointed I could not get a "wand" tilter vs. cord. This option should be made avaialbe on these type of wood blinds"

"We upgraded to these 2" wood blinds for 2 reasons, to darken the room and for a nicer look.
They accomplished both. They look more classy than our old beige vinyl 1" slat blinds, and they do keep the room considerably darker in the morning (we got the upgrade where the slats don't have little peepholes in them. - forget what that's called)
They arrived w/in the expected time frame just fine.
The only 3 (minor) frustsrations - no instructions for installation came in the shipment. Not a big deal - I"ve done other installations of these in the past (about 10 of them 3 years ago, when we moved in) but I still had to go to the website and find some hardware mountinng instructions (i didn't trust myself to do it - too many holes and choices in the brackets.)
Also, the clear plastic clips that hold the valance on seemed to be upside down from the way they apparently work (at least for us) on the website instructions.
Finally, the wand that tilts the blinds makes contact with the valance at the top (the hook connector) - It doesn't seem to affect the operation of it, but seems not right somehow.
These things are minor - the major ones (look nice, work well, shipped on time and in one piece) were fine."
