The economy series of Phifer sheerweave sun shades (3000 series) have an average openness of 14%. So they block glare and provide a more open view. Perfect for lofts, urban settings, high-rise condominiums, sun rooms, etc. These solar roller shades have a mesh material made from a combination of PVC-coated fiberglass and polyester yarns. These sun control shades are elegant and exquisite. Available in 8 colors, including several radiant Linen weaves.All Sheerweaves roller shades come standard with a continuous loop clutch mechanism for easy control. This system raises and lowers the sun shades smoothly and evenly for trouble-free performance. No more long, dangling cords or frustrating cord locks or cleats. The spring roller option is also available at no charge. You can also have the fabric reversed so the fabric will roll from the front of the roller instead of the back. This option is used most often to bypass obstructions which might have otherwise been obstructed by the fabric.On inside mount roller shades the fabric will be 7/8" to 1" narrower than the roller measurement. This allows space for the shade to operate properly and is true on all brands of roller shades. You may compensate for this by adding to your width measurement and opting for an outside mount. On all inside mounted roller shades you will have a 7/16" to 1/2" light gap on each side of the shade unless there is a window frame, trim, or drapery covering this space.Color shown in picture is Espresso Q18.

"I used this blind in my small condo patio. I mounted it on the outside wall of the condo and I extend it horizontally ten feet to my neighbors patio wall. This provides great protection from the sun here in Mesa, AZ. I used two S-hooks to mount to my neighbors wall and when I'm through with the blind for the day, I disconnect and roll it up. Not quite orthodox, but very effective!"

You can also see outside, so you don't loose you're view-I priced other shades and most of them where twice the price- I don't know how well they work because I didn't buy them-( My Mother didn't raise any fools)Also, they installed so easy, took me about 20 minutes-Another thing, I am not easily impressed-but these shaded impressed me-I have purchased 2 and I will be buying 3 more."

"I searched for a long time for the best option on my front living room window and struggled with what I wanted. I wasn't looking for a privacy blind, but I wanted to block the sun rays coming through the window creating glare on my tv and shining in my eyes. My window was a special order size so I found the price range to be substantial for other blinds and still wasn't exactly what I wanted. I stumbled across blinds.com on the internet and found exactly what I was looking for and the price was incredible. Even with the shipping for the extra large window, it was still the best buy out there. Ordering was easy, shipment came fast, installation was a breeze and to my surprise it was perfect. I couldn't be happier with the results. The product is durable and the color choices were great. I couldn't beleive my eyes. Our blind did exactly what I wanted. "These cost half the price of anything you'll find simillar from any other source, and they are great. They are exactly what I'd hoped for. I have huge windows in my building, and even so, the company was able to build them perfectly. I recommend them to anyone who wants to filter the light, but doesn't want to spend their life savings doing it. They look great! Last - I had no problem installing them. Easy, as long as you have a power drill so you don't have to screw the screws in by hand."

"Welove the quality and easy installation but the ordering details were not as expected. We first ordered the shade with the valance but weren't told that the color of the plastic casing was going to be defaulted to cream and not white. We expected white. We also wanted to have the same silver/chrome pull strings to open/close the blinds but the economy doesn't offer it. We weren't told that until after we ordered silver/chrome and it came in cream. So, it would've been nice to know that detail. We also didn't know that the pullstrings come by default 66% of the shade length. Since we have young children, that was too long and a choking hazard. We had to adjust them ourselves which was not too difficult but an inconvenience. Since it was just the first sample blind we ordered, we knew to specify that we wanted them 50% of the blind length when we ordered a the next batch of shades. The next one came with cream instead of silver/chrome and they had to resend it to us. We had to install it ourselves. Again, not too difficult but an inconvenience. All the other blinds' pullstrings did not come 50% of length even after we called and made sure that it was specified in the special notes since they are unable to change the length specification in the area after pullstring length. Apparently, the company making the blinds did not see this special note. We had to adjust all the pullstrings ourselves. This was a major inconvenience! So, we do love the shades now that they are up and fixed to spec. So, just be sure to dot your i's and cross your t's when ordering. If you do not specify, they may not tell you or ask you all the pertinent questions. We did appreciate the great customer service from the many reps we spoke to. They are very, very nice."

"Overall we like the apparence and they were easy to install. Altought, the straight metal bar that covers the hem was installed visibly croocked on 2 shades out of five. Therefore, considering the fact that there is no warranty and the impracticality to ship it back for repair, I would not recommend your product to a friend."

Thanks. Measuring suggestion for inside mount- After you measure your width to 1/8 of an inch: add an extra 1/8" and they fit perfectly. Trust me on this."
