Economy Room Darkening Roller Shade

All shades come with a continuous loop clutch - allowing you to easily stop the shade in any position. These high-quality vinyl roll-up shades are available in a variety of colors to coordinate with your room with a white backing.On inside mount roller shades the fabric will be 7/8" to 1" narrower than the roller measurement. This allows space for the shade to operate properly and is true on all brands of roller shades. You may compensate for this by adding to your width measurement and opting for an outside mount. On all inside mounted roller shades you will have a 7/16" to 1/2" light gap on each side of the shade unless there is a window frame, trim, or drapery covering this space.Color shown in picture is White RE1050.Hem Style is 4.

"We have gradually ordered these blinds for our whole house. Every one has been of great quality and the perfect size. Some are more than two years old and still look like new. They are very room darkening. The ball chain always works. What can I say?

"My only complaint I have with the shade is the extension brackets that came with it. The screws were way too big and did not fit in the slots. I had to dig through my utility box hoping to find the right size screws without having to run to the store to buy them. Thankfully I managed to scrounge up 4 screws that would fit right through the slots. Also, the brackets themselves extended out too far (which I can't understand because my last identical shade that I ordered from here came with smaller brackets) so I had to redo the curtain rods and hang them much higher so it wouldn't interfere too much with the rolling of the shade. Otherwise the shade itself is very nice quality and I would have given 5 stars if not for the brackets."

Great at Blocking Unwanted Light, August 13, 2009

"These blinds do a great job at blocking the unwanted light in my 2 yr old's room. We had just left the cheap plastic mini blinds in his room that were there when we bought the house, he no longer has too much light coming in during nap-time and the street light isn't a problem at bed-time either.
They look nice and do a wonderful job. His window is made up of two double hung windows that are a total of 78" wide within one wooden frame, so I ordered two shades with the cords on opposite sides so that they could be attached with the safety clip to the window frame. If I were to need to replace these in the future, I think I would order the 78" even though it would have a seam (required if over 72") because there is about a 1 3/4" gap in the middle which lets in more light than I had expected. It is not enough of a problem to require new blinds though."

"Great product! We purchased 2 of these for our son's room and soon to be daughter's room. They definately block out the light!! I highly recommend these blinds!
The only downside to the blinds is the strong smell. It took about 3 weeks before the material smell went away. I'm 8 1/2 months pregnant and my husband said he didn't notice it that much, but it definately bothered me at first.
The attention to details from blinds.com put us at ease when purchasing. We searched many other stores and found blinds.com to be the most detailed in their descriptions and cost effective. The ordering process was very easy and turnaround time for the blinds was incredibly fast! We will definately purchase from blinds.com in the future! We are planning on ordering another set of these blinds for our room!"

"I got exactly what I expected and wanted. Though not the fanciest blinds, they are perfect for my son's bedroom. Easy to install--zip, zip, click. Easy to use, especially with the continuous loop feature. It darkens the room for naps. The only light comes from the space between the two blinds (two single blinds on a double window), but I know that gaps are to be expected with roller blinds. The best part is that it raises and lowers evenly--unlike cell shades."

"After purchasing cheap roll up shades at a home improvement store, they fell apart or were pulled down by my young children with in a year. I came across these roll up shades and found that they were thicker in material and easier to pull down and up.
We have been delighted with the quality and the room darkening quailty of these shades. Install was easy. We were good to go in 20 minutes after taking them out of the box.
I would highly recommend them, especially for a kids room where durability is needed."

"These vinyl shades are good quality and produce good light blocking effects. I have had blinds on my west facing windows for several years and they still look and work great. I recently purchased another for a south facing bedroom. My only advice is to read the ordering directions carefully to ensure your coverage is adequate, measurements are exact (!) and you will not be disappointed. I added an extra couple of inches on the length and width for outside mounts and am very happy with the coverage."
