Economy Room Darkening Roller Shade

All shades come with a continuous loop clutch - allowing you to easily stop the shade in any position. These high-quality vinyl roll-up shades are available in a variety of colors to coordinate with your room with a white backing. On inside mount roller shades the fabric will be 7/8" to 1" narrower than the roller measurement. This allows space for the shade to operate properly and is true on all brands of roller shades. You may compensate for this by adding to your width measurement and opting for an outside mount. On all inside mounted roller shades you will have a 7/16" to 1/2" light gap on each side of the shade unless there is a window frame, trim, or drapery covering this space.Color shown in picture is White RE1050.Hem Style is 4.

"We were really pleased with the blinds, the ordering process was really easy; this was the first site I found that could make blinds as large as the window I needed to cover and the price was great. Its hard to find window covering for an extra large window. The blinds arrived in a short time...they look really nice too. If I didn't already have my other windows done, I probably would have done all my windows in these blinds. You can install and leave them for a clean/contemporary look or dress them up with/or a cornice board and panels. Plus there was so many options to choose from....not the typical shades you remember as a kid...they are really nice...strongly recommend if you want to dress your windows for less."

"Be sure to measure the inside dimension of each seperate (and use the naming function too!) window at the top. Most home windows with identically appearing windows may actually vary +/- 1/4" over a dozen windows - dont just measure one and order 12 of the same size!
Measure and name each blind (Bobs Bedroom Rt side = BBRS, Bobs Bedroom Lf side = BBRLS, Bobs Bedroom front = BBFR, etc.
I'm glad I did because all 8 of my blinds fit to where I measured them to, perfectly!

"I liked this web page as they had sooo much useful info. Like a lot of rollers shades have a cardboard rod inside!! I just needed this old type shade and it is just like the old ones. ( It does however lack the pull string attached to the bottom of the shade...no big deal though.)"

"Had to get new shades for my bedrooms because we got new windows and they were thicker than the old windows - could not put mini blinds back up inside window casing. This website very user friendly with the videos on measuring and installing especially since I had to go from inside to outside mount window treatments. These shades serve their purpose, really does darken the room. Only complaint, they were not the EXACT measurement I gave them but they still worked so I didn't throw a fit - I actually measured with plenty of room on either side of the window so it worked out fine. I might be nervous about submitting the measurement for an inside mount based on this experience."

"Loved the shades, hated the beaded chain for opening/closing. This company was AMAZING. They sent us all new shades w/the spring tension for opening/closing and we LOVE them. WOuld definately use BLINDS.com again."

"I had heard a lot about this company but when I received my shades was quite discouraged about the quality as the rod was severely bent. I found this out after going through the work of putting it up in the room. I don't think this was a shipping problem but a poor selection of wood or dowel from the company. Not sure if I would purchase any other products from them in the future."

"We needed a blind to block out the sun from the 8'x6' slider window. Because of size of the slider, the blind is two vinyl fabrics stitched together. It is not the best look, and reeks of vinyl for a few days, but it gets the job done wonderfully. At that price, we can't ask for much else."

"I was so happy to find blinds that were odd shaped. Not even the Sears catalogue had them. We needed 29"x72"....very odd!
I googled blinds.com and found them! We love them...quite easy to install too!
The only thing that bothered me was that after installing them, the centre pull-down flap was not lying flat.....it's going down though.
Not a problem.

"We bought two 4ft x 4ft blinds for a basement bedroom to darken it. The windows already had metal blinds but the sun shone through terribly. We added these blinds to the inside of the window, behind the metal blinds, where they won't really show. We don't plan on raising and lowering them very much, if at all. And because of that, they work for us. If you will be raising and lowering them, even once a day, I would buy a higher quality. The pull cord feels very cheap like it will break, the gears the cords are attached to work very poorly (stiff and don't pull smoothly). The installation was a little tricky because they've redesigned the end of the roller opposite the pull cord and that type is not shown in their installation video. If you basically want something nicer for darkening a room than tin foil on the windows, and won't be raising and lowering the blinds, then, after using much care to install them, they'll probably work for you. If kids will be using them, definitely buy a higher quality blind."

"The blinds do not spring up and down easily at all- they do not spring up all the way. I have even had to roll it all the way down to get a spring to get them back up. Im keeping them because since they dont work well, my children dont play with them for fear of breaking them so that is OK with me. They do block out the light well, though."

"I ordered a room darkening shade. The price was much lower than most I had priced. I had made my initial order online then had a question. The customer service department got right back to me and addressed my question. Quick response and great customer service. The shade arrived quickly and was exactly as described. It really cuts out alot of the light...Easy to install....I will absolutely do business with this company again and will recommed to family and friends."

"1. It took me forever to figure out how these things were supposed to be installed.

2. Once they were installed the clutch mechanisms failed after the fourth or fifth use.

3. Then, after comparing this to the Bali shades I eventually bought, I realized how incredibly cheap the install hardware and clutch mechanisms were on these.

"I searched many sites for the right shades. I found that Blinds.com was the fairest in price. When I received them I was impressed with the quality and ease of installation. I LOVE these, they fit my decor perfectly. Not to mention, the outside appearance of the windows are awesome.
Again,
Thanks!
