"My husband and I just bought a new home and had to furnish the entire house with blinds. We carefully selected our colors to match the tones of each room. We are so pleased with how beautiful they accent the house. Each color is so vivid. With easy installation, they were completely up within a couple hours. Now when we work at night, we notice a difference in our heating. They trap the warm air in and keep the cold air out. They were a great purchase!"

"We installed these closed cell blinds about a year and a half ago and use them every day. At first I was a bit worried that's they'd wear out because our house has a big solarium on the southh facing side. This means that year round we open and close the blinds at least twice a day. But they still work like new and what is most impressive is that they are LARGE windows and they pull up and down very easily- I love em and can really tell that they keep the cold/heat out.

"This was my second time ordering from blinds.com and again had a great experiance. I recently bought a new townhouse. There were 17 windows to cover and I was scared on how much it was going to cost me. Fortunatly blinds.com exists because I saved tons of money. The blinds are awesome, I have some jelous friends now and some are even buying a few after seeing mine. Super easy to install, I hung 10 in about an hour. "After ordering only one to ensure it would work with our narrow inside mount windows, we were pleased that it mounted well and really enjoyed the visual impact it made. After ordering for our remaining windows, the blinds arrived as advertised well packaged and without any damage. For our home, we opted for the top-down bottom-up version as our windows open the same way and we wanted to enjoy the breezes that frequent our neck of the woods. I was amazed at how narrow the profile is once opened each way. From the outside you can hardly notice where they are hidden behind the profile of the window sashes themselves. We found the online order process to be well laid out and easy to follow and the blinds were a snap to mount saving us over a thousand dollars had we paid to have these ordered and professionally hung. "We bought the top-down, inside-mount version of these blinds for our new office building and we love them. It took about 15 minutes to install each one (well, 30+ minutes for the first one!) and we found it easier to have two people involved. It would have been doable with just one, though. Our favorite part is the appearance - they are simple and beautiful and have been described by several employees as "zen." So far the only problem we've had is that the little plastic pieces on the cords (in the middle where 2 cords go into 1) broke on two blinds. It looks like it's supposed to come apart, but we couldn't put it back together so it's broken as far as we know. We are a little concerned about cleaning them when they get dusty. The rough papery-fabric feels like it would hold dust really well and not lend itself to wiping or vacuuming. However, we haven't tried yet and can't really say it's a problem until we do. Operation is smooth and easy, and the blinds fit our windows perfectly.
A note about the colors: get color samples! We did and we found that the actual samples were quite a bit more bright and colorful than they appeared on the computer screen. Also, the colors look very different with sun coming through them than they do resting on a table."

"Wow, my new blind looks great! I replaced a Fauxwood blind in my kitchen. That blind was OK (it came with the house), but now I have privacy with my FREE top down bottom up feature. I lower it from the top and cannot see the neighbor's garbage can anymore. Also, a lot more light filters in and it is just georgeous. I'm in love !!!"

"So, these blinds are just the same as name brands, but they're less expensive. They're not cheap, but the standard mounting screws are cheap. I always install these with the standard brackets, but I use my own screws. All told, these are good blinds."
