"We have an Historic houseboat in Key West that was recently selected for a TV show about houseboats. Before the shooting we installed economy wood blinds to replace the old plastic venetians in the dining salon. The blinds look and function so well, that we were inspired to improve the area around the blinds with faux wood painting to help show the blinds off. Considering the ease of installation, along with the well thought out packaging as well as the blinds fit and finish, the value of the economy blinds is exceptional."

"bought 4 of these custom blinds for our son as a Christmas gift in his living room windows. he liked them so well that when his b'day came along in Feb he asked for some in his dining room & kitchen. i have a feeling he'll be getting some in the next year for his bedrooms."

"Due to the brackets needing to be installed in the corners of the window frame, the electric drill and screwdriver would not fit at a 90 degree angle- makes installation awkward.
The flap will not open when the bracket is totally flush with the top of the window frame, so I had to lower it. Instructions should warn about that.
The colors are limited and not the best match for my windows.
The mechanism for opening the shades is not smooth, but works OK."

"The blinds I ordered [ 22 in number ] installed very easily and look great. The cherry finish is especially nice.
I got estimates that seemed high to me - $125-$175/window - from local window treatment companies. Even if one includes the value of the time I spent installing the blinds, we probably spent 2/3rds of the lowest estimates I got.
It's a good product."

"I was worried the blinds wouldn't work because the window frame is very narrow, not the ideal depth. However, the brackets installed easily and very securely considering the shallow depth of the frame. The blinds look great and I am very happy with my purchase."

"I was hesitant to choose blinds online without ever seeing them in person, but I was in a hurry.
What amazed me was the ease in measuring - and they DO adjust at the factory for installation. it was so easy and so fast and the quality is great. The blinds went up in about 15 minutes (I'm not real handy either). The instructions were so clear and it's just plain easy.They fit perfectly and I just could not be more pleased. My father in law ordered blinds from blinds.com and my husband and I put them up for him. They were much wider than mine but still very simple and easy to install. Mine were inside and his were outside mount, and both were easy to install."

"We recently built a second home and needed a lot of blinds for our windows that blocked the sun and looked great when open. These wood blinds do both wonderfully. They were very easy to put up and added a great finished look to all the rooms we put them in. They were a great price. Make sure you order the free samples first cuz colors are deceiving on the website."

"They look great but the cords for drawing them up and down do not work very well. One side of the blind "falls" down and it takes me a few minutes to get the cord to catch in the mechanism. It also took some cutting to get the cords on each side even. Other than that, they are great."

"I'm very happy with the blinds, esay to order &
easy to install. I whave more blinds to order and would like to suggest that the labels on the bottom of the last slate be put on the top behind the valance, when I tilt the blind uo, all the labels show, I am going to try and remove them without ruining the blind but other than that! your a good company to deal with."
