2" Fauxwood Economy Blind

If you don't want materials that are cheap, faux wood blinds by Blinds.com might be your perfect choice. The options with the 2" Economy Blind are more limited compared to our other 2" discount faux wood blinds, but you won't sacrifice quality. You'll just pay less and get remarkable savings. The slats are available in 8 colors (including 3 NEW premium stain colors!). A 3" Crown valance and flat bottom rail are standard.Fauxwood blinds are heavier than wood blinds. So if you plan to raise and lower these often, consider wood blinds as an alternative.Color shown in picture is Antique White 76.

"The Fauxwood Economy Blinds look terrific from the inside and from the outside of the house! I was hesitant at first but have found it's actually easier to order online than to wait for a big box store to cut my blinds to size. These blinds would be heavy to raise and lower all the time but since I usually only open and close the leaver they work great. Giving your exact window measurements is important since Blinds.com will automatically make allowances for the sides. Installing them is a breeze and they come with great quality brackets and hardware."

"I had a very special problem, which your blinds solved perfectly. I wanted a wood look in a seashore house in which wood does not fare well. I wanted to stay in character with the Cape Cod old seashore look, on a summer home budget. The 2" Fauxwood blinds did the trick beautifully. They look rich and expensive, are impervious to the humid salt environment, and are easy to wipe clean. As I was unsure of my measurements I contacted your customer service who took the time to walk me through the measurements of my unique triple window and as a result they fit perfectly, as does the matching single window. Installation was no more difficult than installing mini-blinds. I was so pleased that I have recommended your site to many of my friends. Thanks again to your customer service, they are first rate."

"For the money, your can't beat it. Easy to install (maybe 5-10 minutes per blind). The look really good, but not real wood. Still, looks nice at our lake house and did the job.

For a really nice home, I'd recommend real wood instead of these.

But, again, for the money and ease of installation, this was perfect!"

"The faux wooden blinds were an excellent value. They look great. They were made extremely well and they are solid. They were easy to install especially after watching the online video on your site. I would not hesitate to purchase more for our other rooms. These were put in the living room and by getting the sample wood first I matched my wood floor. "Blinds came on time . the fit was perfect and easy to install. I ordered the cherry wood blinds and was disappointed that the color did not look like the reddish brown of my cherry furniture and cabinets but was a medium brown instead.. the color could have been closer. otherwise they were great"

"I am really happy with the blinds that I ordered from your company. The only thing I would like to see different, would be a stronger cord to open and close the blinds .. string doesn`t seem to be very durable, and I am afraid that after repeated uses it will break"

"What do you expect for the price though? The tilter mechanism is difficult to operate and sometimes gets stuck...for that matter, so does the raise and lower cable. But they look pretty good and if you don't mind some gaps, they do the job they were intended to do. I bought from blinds.com mostly because of the cost savings involved - I would have spent a LOT more at Lowe's or Home Depot for similar blinds."

"They look fine, but are not as room darkening as the product description would have you believe. Also, the draw cord to raise and lower the blinds keeps coming apart - very cheap plastic."

"We purchased these blinds for our living room windows. We previously had mini blinds that our dogs had destroyed. They look wonderful! They are heavy and the dogs don't try to get in them. They keep the light out so much better than mini blinds. I just love the way they look. I plan on replacing the whole house with the same blinds."

"One of the kitchen valances was broken upon arrival.and the bedroom blind ,I had to repair,the control to open and close the blind was not operational.I was able to at least fix it to the point of functioning.I had already mounted it before I tried to open and close the blind and found it did'nt work.The appearance is nice and installation was fairly easy."
