"We called and ordered our blinds with the measurements for our windows and the contact person told us it would be 10 working days until we received our blinds. We received them in 8 days and they were an exact fit. They were very easy to install and they look wonderful. We are very happy with the service and the product. The ease of shopping and the free delivery on most of our blinds was a plus. We did have to pay the shipping on one of our blinds as it was for an over-sized window. "I installed these for my wife,and had a problem with the blinds that shut from both sides....The string that closes the blinds is crossed inside the houseing,an the blinds don't close all the way.We have a quarter inch gap in the middle....It will close if we force it...but to much of that will break sumthing..so we'll live with it....i guess"

"You get what you pay for. These blinds look pretty good and do their job, but are definately not high quality. The track that they run along is very rough and noisy as you extend and retract the blinds. It is not smoothing operating like other verticals I have experienced. Installation instructions were a little vague and it took us mounting once, dismounting, adjusting drill holes and then re-mounting to get it right. I would probably still recommend based on the price alone. One more thing is that we got the "white" color, but the wand is a pretty ugly off white/yellowish color that looks old and cheap. The wand is also really long and awkward to use for pushing and pulling the blinds. I've used other verticals with wands that were much better."

"Just purchased four set of blinds. My ceilings are lower over the windows, so my measurements needed to be very precise.
As the video and instructions tell you, (outside mount) measure to top of window (outside molding), then add 2 inches to allow for hardware. I added 2 inches and allowed for an extra 1/4 inch (all I had room for), but the blinds I received were 1/2 inch too long. I will now need to hand cut each PVC blind (120-150).
Be aware that if you have limited height, the valance clip will need an extra 7/8" at the top. They didn't mention this, and now I have four valances I cannot use.
Lastly, the open/close mechanism is a bit flimsy. They use a tiny silver ball to attach the drawstring together, but this ball gets caught in the mechanism. To open my blinds completely, I need to reach up and push the blinds in order to force the silver ball through the opening at the top.
On the good side, the blinds were nicely priced, and do look quite nice. Ordering without seeing the product will always be a problem. Just try to be aware of whatever limitations your windows may present."

"I bought the PVC vertical blinds for my daughters new home and they transformed the home to the next level up. Just a few things that can be impoved on. 1. I had to trim the bottom of the PVC blinds which was easily done with a pair of sizzors. 2. Couple of the blinds when openining or closing feel like the chain has jumped its track and make a jerky/noisy sound when operating. 3. The free cordless screw driver that was given to me for my purchase over $350 or so was not worth the postage it cost to send to me. Very poor quality and choise of a free gift. I had a coupon for $25 off my purchase I could of used where I too the free cordless screw driver thinking it might make the installation eaiser. However they do look great and for the majority of the blinds they do operater great. Thanks for your time."

"Very happy with this company. Happy with the product and customer service. Only thing I can say is that for any single women out there make sure you have someone professional install your blinds or verticals. I happen to be a rather strong and bull headed woman and if I don't know how to do something I will stay on it like white on rice till I figure it out. This was in fact a big job. I installed a huge vertical for my living room window and then another three for the bedroom and kitchen windows. Ladies this was not an easy job for one woman who has never installed verticals. In the end they turned out perfect however it may be worth it for women who are not handy to pay the extra few dollars and have a professional install them for you:) Great company, great product, great customer service, very happy and would order from them again:)"

"Be sure to measure the depth of the window's frame before ordering. Although a separate sliding glass door fit the Blinds.com version of a vertiglide blind, this blind would not fit the window prompting a quick switch to an outside mount, which worked because of caveat 2: it was cut ever so slightly two tall. My measurements were accurate, but the panels were cut seemingly to forget the 2 inches of drop between the top of the rail and the hooks.
Otherwise, they block my view of the perpetually underdressed neighbor perfectly! It also darkens the room much better then anticipated. The wand control comes out of its socket easily with tall blinds, but using a peice of tape to close the hook's gap solved that."

"I ordered 7 vertical blinds for (obviously) 7 windows. Having never installed blinds, I thought that this would be something worth trying. The videos on the "Blinds.com" website made measuring and installing very easy. I had a couple of issues that did need to address: 1) I was going to be installing in drywall/wood combination, and 2) I would need to purchase separate anchor screws. I needed a 3/16" drill bit for drywall only and then a 3/8" drill bit for the drywall/wood combination. The supplied screws may have worked in the drywall/wood combination, but I didn't want to risk it.
Long story short, you become an expert installer after the second window. I would recommend doing your first blind installation on the smallest window in order to work out your technique. All in all, it was an easy process and the blinds look awesome.
There were no problems involving supplies included nor with what was ordered. All items came as expected. They even included an additional vane for each window. I recommend doing it yourself. I have paid installers to install vertical blinds before, but from now on, I will install vertical blinds myself."
