"I am pleased with the vertical blinds. My only complaint is there is slop in the mechanics and some seem to be at slitely different angles.(When they twist partialy shut) Probably because they are ten foot long. I am being picky. They do work quite well. The linkage just seems a litttle sloppy. To bad I had to pay $70.00 shipping for the ten foot blinds."

"I purchased these blinds for my home, I'm a first time home buyer w/3 kids and tried to save money by doing stuff on my own. the instructions were easy to follow, I had these blinds up in no time. I'm now thinking of putting these in my entire home. it was also a + that these blinds were like $200 cheaper than the stores. I'm so glad I found this site"

"I was hesitant about buying blinds online but after reading all the positive reviews I decided to give it a try. I cannot say enough how pleased I am with my purchase.

I bought 2 sets of blinds; one for a picture window in the front room and the other for a side window in the same room. They definitely give the whole room a new appearance. The ordering was smooth; the shipping was fast and the installation was a breeze! The blinds are much better quality than I expected for the price.

I am now looking at replacing the cheap blinds I bought a few years ago from a retail store in my area with these same blinds. I would highly recommend blinds.com to anyone!"

"The hook end of the wand keeps coming off, that is, it EASILY disengages from the top eyelet, while opening and closing the blinds. I feel this is EXTREMELY poor design and had to put strapping tape along the hook opening so that it was less likely to happen. When i was installing, it came off, fell to the floor, and the bottom plastic cap broke. My local blinds repairman says it happens all the time.
It is too bad because they are nice looking and work fairly smoothly. I feel that design could be enhanced with a snap-ring or some other kind of secure closure."

"We had difficulty with the side closure. It took my husband quite some time to get it to work as it appeared to be stripped or something. It still slips some, but at least we can now turn the blinds to open them. We do love the way that they come open in the middle of our windows on the larger of the two blinds, however."

"The only problem I have had is with the large vertical blind (PVC type) that I installed over my sliding glass doors. The individual slats bunch up when I slide them to the side to open the blinds. I have to manually unbunch them to get the slats to move all the way to the side. This is very irritating."
