"I bought unfinished shutters and painted myself so the paint would exactly match my woodwork. They were hard to paint, so I can see why your pre-painted option is so much more (lot of labor in there). They installed very easily and fit perfectly. They are exactly what I wanted for that space."

"I own a home that was built in the 40's. The original owner/builder used traditional shutters throughout, so I wanted to keep with the same design when I enlarged the home. The traditional shutters I purchased from Blinds.com fit the bill perfectly. No one can tell that the home has had an addition and it receives rave reviews by friends who come to visit."

"Your blinds have been VERY disappointing and I would not recommend them! When we tried to hang the shutters but half of them would not close. The reason appears to be a combination of warpage as well as poor assembly of the hinges with their respective cutouts on the stile. Over all it seems the shutters were quickly put together and no one checked to see if they worked."

"I was very pleased with the quality of the shutters that I purchased through Blinds.com. I got the unfinished ones which I painted myself. It was a very difficult job and would have bought them pre-finished if it had not been for the added expense, double the price, of buying them that way."
