"These are really good blinds. I bought the natural wood blinds. However, one caveat. In the size I bought - 48"x48" - they are heavy to open and close. If you/re going smaller (36W x 48L ??), I can recommend them. If you're only going to use the "tilt" and not often open or close them, I can recommend them. Otherwise, another format may be more useful. Still and all, I very good product."

"For the most part the blinds are nice looking and good quality for the price. Installation was a bit challenging. There was no way to minimize the small amount of horizontal movement within the holding brackets. Peviously, I had installed Levolor blinds which had a tab on the inside of the holding brackets that could be pulled out our pushed in to hold the blind securely horizontally. I managed to insert wood shims to minimize the excessive movement."

"These blinds looks great and operate fine. They were easy enough to hang except the screws included stripped easily. I tried mulitiple phillips head bits to no avail. I had to hand screw them all with a flat head. These screws do not accomodate a cordless screwdriver/drill and have to be done by hand.

They are great blinds for the price. If I were doing it over again, I would go to the local hardware store and purchase better screws for a couple of bucks.

Warm & insulating!

"When I planned my kitchen remodel, I knew I didn't want real wood blinds, since I know how high maintanance they are from the ones in my bedroom...I thought of aluminum until I saw these beautiful faux wood Bali blinds.

I must say I'm totally impressed! The ""Barley" color blends in beautifully with my Maple Spice cabinets, and the "no-holes" feature really helps darken the room and insulates against the cold.

The first snowy night, I ran my hand over them and felt warmth rather than the coldness and draft that the old aluminum blinds had.

The biggest bonus was that they cost me nearly half of the price premium aluminum blinds would have cost!

"These blinds look good and are a decent value but you have to shorten them yourself. So why bother taking both width and length measurements? This was very disappointing. I wouldn't buy these blinds again."

"This is my 3rd purchase from Blinds.com and I am a satisfied customer. The blinds were just as advertised. They really jazzed up my kitchen/dining nook. I always have trouble following directions but was able to muddle through the instructions without too many problems. Delivery time was very acceptable for custom made blinds. I highly recommend Blinds.com!"

"I have an old house that has not been updated since the 60's. I am redoing it one room at a time. This was my second set of blinds purchased from blinds.com. I bought their brand of blinds for my living room first. I really like them and would recommend them to any one. Then I got the Bali blinds on sale for two other rooms. They are alright, but I do not feel they are as well made. I will get the blinds.com brand in future for the other rooms I need to refinish. I am very happy with the speed with which both my orders have been filled and the ease of ordering from Blinds.com. The prices are good too."

"I am so pleased with my purchase, I ordered blinds for the rest of my house within two weeks of my first purchase. I was able to cover 7 windows for just under $500, and that includes some large, odd shaped windows.

The 5 working days that is indicated is needed to make the blinds is incorrect, as it was much faster. The blinds were waiting on my doorstep 5 business days after my order.

They went up with ease, and they are absoutley gorgeous. I see no need to buy wood blinds ever again, the fauxwood looks so nice and just like real wood.

In addition, the quailty and craftsmanship is obvious.

I would order from blinds.com again in a heartbeat if I had any more windows to cover.

Thanks so much!

"I purchased 16 custom fit blinds. I had several questions and had to call back several times before I placed my order - My representative was always patient and very friends.
The blinds came in 2 weeks, every thing was perfect. Easy to install and they look great.
Also, a great price.
I would recommend these to anyone.

"I purchased my home three years ago and it came with a beautiful sunroom. I decided to make the sunroom my computer/office space. The sunroom also had brown aluminum blinds which made it very warm in the winter and unbearable in the summer. I purchased an awning which helped but not alot. Then after stumbling on to blinds.com called and with the help of they sales staff ordered 5 very large faux wood blinds sets. Absolutly awesome ! I can now control the heat of the room and it took me all of 30 minutes to install. Thank you very, very much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"The blinds are easy to install except for the screws provided. I wish they provided the screws which could penetrate easily into the drywall. It took a lot of time for me to nail the screws. Installing the blinds afterward took less than 2 minutes."

Recommend Sheet rock Screws, January 3, 2009

"This is a good product and I installed twenty four Bali 2 inch Faux Wood Coconut blinds in two days inside window frames constructed of sheet rock on top of wood frames. If I were installing these inside of wood frames, I would still use the sheet rock screws, but would pre-drill the wood to prevent splitting.

The screws that came with the blinds require pre-drilling and the Phillips heads were shallow and the 1/4 inch hex head was not much better. They wore out two 1/4 inch Craftsman sockets before I decided that the whole thing would be easier using 1 5/8 inch sheet rock screws. The job went 4 X faster this way. The overall appearance was EXCELLENT and the function also appears EXCELLENT.

Several small glitches occurred. MY measurements for three windows were too long, and I had to shim the inside end mounts with 1/4 inch oak. Three of MY measurements were too short and I had to cut the blinds down with my 10 inch Craftsman table saw, using both a metal blade for the mechanism and a plywood blade for the faux wood blinds. The final appearance was EXCELLENT. Many home hobbyists might not have the equipment to do this, but these blinds were not hard to shorten.

Blinds.com sent one blind was too long by about 1/2 inch longer than their specification, and they told me it would be replaced without charge to me. They were very pleasant and courteous in their phone conversations to me. Kudos to Jessica!

"I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality of the Bali Budget Blinds. They hang very nicely and look elegant. They do not look like budget blinds. My huband had no problem installing them. I would not hesitate to purchase these or other Bali blinds for the other 4 rooms that I will be needing to purchase new window treatments for."
