"When I ordered the verticle blinds, I specifically required them to be ceiling mountable. I own a house with floor to ceiling windows. So I ordered the blinds with the overall floor to ceiling height. But the factory did not include the height of the mounting brackets in the overall height equation. So all of the blinds were too long and I had to trim each one. Then I found out that the Valances are not designed for ceiling mount applications. Since there is no room between the top of the bracket and the ceiling, the valance clips would not work. I had to again modify the valances in order to get them to work. I would not recommend these blinds for any ceiling mount application. If I didn't have the skills and tools to cut and modify the blinds and valances, I would have had to return the whole order. I don't want to even ponder how easy that would have been..."

"Blinds are very nice. They fit together very well. Be aware, however, that they have to be attached correctly or the "wrong" side will show when closed. We had to switch ours around."

"I bought the Graber S-Shaped PVC Vertical Blind as a replacement for my older blinds and I must say they are pretty good. They are pretty sturdy and very functional. My older blinds had two strings, one for pull the blinds back and forth, and the other to open and close them. The new ones have only one rod which you need to use both for opening and closing the blinds and also push the panels back and forth. Initially I thought that it will be very inconvinient but after a couple of days I found that it is very easy to do. I did not do the installation myself and my wife told me that she got a handyman to do it and it was not that easy. May be if he follwoed the directions from the web site, it could have been easier.
We got the double shade design (raised design), and I wish they had more choice of colors. In fact some other design would have matched our carpet better but they were out of stock of those blinds and they did not know when they were going to be available. We were tired of our old blinds, the panels keep falling off and we have to put a scotch tape over the holes and push them back in. The quality of the blinds is very good and I highly recommend them. Also they are less expensive than other competetors like 3-day blinds. And they sent us the blinds samples free of charge. Hope these will last for a long time to come."
