"I had previously ordered room darkening pleated shades from a major department store/catalog retailer. I had even had them installed in my home, but I was extremely disappointed in the overall poor quality of the items, considering that I waited six weeks for my shades to arrive, when it had been stated it would take two weeks for my order to ship. I then found your company advertised in a magazine and decided to check it out. I ordered new room darkening cellular shades from you and was amazed at the difference in quality when the product arrived. I then had the already hanging shades removed and replaced them with yours and boy, am I glad I did. Needless to say the first shades were returned to the retailer for a full refund. Thanks for a quality product that fits perfectly and arrived in the specified times stated."

"I work nights and sleep during the day, so it was important for me to get high quality shades that block out the light. These were so quick and easy to install and very sturdy! They really do block out so much light! There is some light that spills around the edges, but that is to be expected with any window covering. They look really nice and fit into the window opening perfectly. I love them and would buy them again in a heartbeat!"

"I had never ordered blinds on line before and was a little hesitant, however we received our blinds yesterday and I would definitely order again. The blinds are beautiful and the quality is fantastic. We took a chance and ordered a chocolate brown color which was actually called coffee bean and they are perfect. My husband installed them the day we received them and it was so easy. They really set off the room. I would order from your company again if the need arises. Thank you for a great product."

"The Blackout feature is great for the corner bedroom I purchased it for, but the easy-lift system is loud and clackity, not smooth like the Bali's. Fortunately I only bought these blackouts for one of the bedrooms."

"The brown blackout blinds that I purchased look wonderful. We installed them in the master bedroom so the popping sound that they make is a little distracting at bedtime. It's not a huge problem but, we find that if we lower the blinds about 30 minutes before bedtime, the popping is done by the time we turn in. Would recommend the blinds and I am about to make my third purchase from the website."

"While the shades were were easy to install, do darken the room very well and look good, the pastic components and the paper shade themselves are flimsy. The shade material gets crushed very easy. I hope it will stand up tot eh UV light and routine cleaning."

"These blinds are made very well. but they are too heavy and are very tight to pull down. I ordered a muslin color but it came very dark, like a medium/dark beige, which is not that color. I thought about returning them, but they are in a spare bedroom and I will not be looking at them or using them regularly, and it took a very long time between ordering and the delivery."

"I am rating these but on a previous purchase. I added the roll up shade and I hate it. Two of the three shades are crooked when I roll them up and it is almost impossible to adjust them because they are on a continuous roller. I would not recommend adding this feature to the blinds. The blinds a very nice but I do not like the white top rail. It is so bright against a darker color blind. However, the blind itself is a 5 but the roll is a 1 star."

"All cellular shades seem overpriced to me but these are cheaper than the name brands, and it's evident. The mechanism is fine but the bottom rail needs more weight to extend the material better. After lowering the blinds, the cells tends to stick to each other for a while until gravity pulls them apart. This results in a bunch of squeaks/pops/clicks from the blind that lasts at least an hour after lowering. Annoying since it's a bedroom. The occurs on both sets we bought even several weeks after installation.
The fabric appears less durable than a set of Graber blackouts we also have.

Installation ease is probably my lack of expertise.

"The double-cell is actually a single cell sticked together in the middle, that's ok but when you hang it long enough, the sticked part separate and it becomes single cell, this is unacceptable and while it separates, it makes annoying noise. If you lower the blinds in day time, you have to raise it at least one hour before you get into bed, otherwise you can not go into sleep because of the noise of sticked paper seperating. I even believed they sent me the wrong product until I realized their glue is not holding them together."

"The purchased blind is 1/2 in. to narrow for the window casing opening, also the blind is not long enough to rest on the bottom sill. When pulled fully down hard it is barely long enough then creeps back up leaving a gap. I verified my measurements and they are the correct opening size."

"These blinds truly serve the purpose. They block the light period. I was satisfied with quality of blind, ease of installation and blinds.com customer service. Only oddity I noticed about this blind is that it has clear white color casing at top, we were expecting the casing color to loosely match the color of blind. But other than that I would definitely recommend this to others. In fact I may order one more for our bedroom window."

"The blinds are nice. The quality is adequate for the price. The blackout really works! The rooms that got the blinds were instantly easier to keep cool. The only thing I don't like is the handles. They are a bit flimsy and not easy to get a hold of. They are also cheap clear plastic, not matching the quality or look of the blinds themselves."
